I joined up with Just Get Fit to get some personal one on one training and to break the monotony of the gym. Troy & I started personal training with Hiday in February 2008. Both of us had goals to become more healthy & fit with the aim of toning and losing some excess body fat.

 

Initially we agreed that we would commit to three months of training, however we loved it so much we ended up training with Hiday for approx nine months.

 

At the start of our training Troy was 94kgs & I was 49.6kgs and within a few months we had both lost weight and centimetres off our key focus areas. Troy decreased to 84kg’s and Hayley to 47.5kgs and we are currently the same in January 2009.

 

Hiday introduced us both to modified diets to ensure we were eating the right foods and portions. We still keep to the same diet and only eat in moderation, and Sunday is still the day we can have something special as a reward. We both can’t believe we converted to soy milk and still enjoy today. 

 

The only reason why we stopped was due to financial commitments; however we were confident that the training and advice Hiday had provided us that we could maintain ourselves.

 

We both highly recommend personal training sessions with Hiday, it has changed our lifestyles and we have more energy to live life to the fullest.

Owen – 39 Years – 96 Kg’s start

 

I had tried exercising in spurts since putting on a fair bit of weight from around the age of 32 with limited success.  I would slug it out for 3 month periods on the tread mill and cross trainer, lose the weight and then, mainly through boredom, drop the ball to put it back on again.

 

Since teaming up with Hiday 3 months ago, my body has undergone a major transformation.   Hiday taught me about needing constant change, pushing yourself and provided me with different programs to keep it interesting.  I am now in the 80 Kg’s range for the first time since my 20’s and my abs have re appeared!  Hiday’s insights into diet, weight training and just 10 minutes on the cross trainer before my program have changed the way I exercise for good.

I find exercise motivation such a difficult concept. I was involved in some group personal training with another company and found them to be less than professional, I contacted Just Get Fit personal training and started half hour lunchtime sessions with Hiday. I have never looked back. My group training has since folded but Hiday and I are still going strong. I can't say that my motivation to exercise is any higher, but I've signed up to walk 100km in the 2009 Oxfam Trailwalkers so he must be doing something right (or I have completely lost my mind.....maybe a bit of both)!

Hiday pushes me, but not so much that I can't move for a week or that I crack it and never return. The training sessions are varied which keeps things interesting and the results have been surprising, I am amazed at what can be achieved in half an hour. I am happier now than I have been in a very long time and sometimes I even have fun training (boxing training provides satisfaction for my, some would say, wicked imagination). There's still work to do, but that's ok. I am heading in the right direction and for the first time in ages I can see that my goals are actually achievable.

Hi Hidekazu

Prior to working out with you, I have been exercising regularly and active in sports but without much results. Now with the personal training programs you set for me and our training sessions, I feel much fitter and
my body is much more toned! There are so many benefits of having a personal trainer like you. You make the training sessions fun and motivate me to stick to my program. In addition to this, my body is much stronger
and my tennis game has also improved.
